16.07.2009: Helimap System SA launches its second brand new system in production Helimap System® II
Based on the new Riegl VQ-480 scanners, the handheld system will allow us to fly higher, with a rate of 150'000 points/sec, realtime processed fullwave form.
The scanner is combined with the new 50Mpix Hasselblad camera confering 30% gain on pixel size comparing to the 22Mpix.
Typical operation carateristics of Helimap System® II:
Flight until 500m/ground
Point density of 5 to 30 points/m2 at 300m, multi-echo (until 9 returns)
Pixel size of 5cm at 300m
Oblique/vertical mapping with same "handheld" flexibilty as HSI
For corridor or surface until 10'000 ha
